Mary DeVillier

Mary DeVillier is a Stage Manager in her senior year at Louisiana State University (LSU) pursuing a degree in Theatre with a concentration in Design and Technology.

 

Mary enjoys the creative process of theatre as well as collaborating with other artists. She believes the most important job of the stage manager is to maintain communication between all persons involved in order to keep the production running smoothly from beginning to end.

 

Mary is heavily involved in the theatre community at LSU. Her academic credits include Stage Manager for the LSU Lab productions of The Actor’s Nightmare/Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You, Woyzeck, and Side Man. She has assistant stage managed for LSU Mainstage’s production of LMNOP: The Muzical and Swine Palace’s productions of Arcadia and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. Mary has also stage managed for Swine Palace on their summer musical Always...Patsy Cline.
